I find it interesting how the word “slash” is replacing the punctuation mark even in writing.

In glowfic I have mostly seen it written out within dialogue, which I assumed was to represent that the character had to say it out loud.

I am not caught up on Two Hells all the way so this night have already happened but: Edie send convinced she can't have an evil alt. The description she comes up with as the worst she could imagine is, however, not as bad as the worst existent alt she has.

Two Hells Edie should meet Runaway Mutant Edie. The latter isn't naturally evil but is desperate, and this makes her do evil things.

To be fair, "be a terrorist" is in approximately everybody's option space, even if one would be astonishingly unlikely to be a successful one, and you'd have to be from one hell (heaven?) of a nice fluffy world for it to not be in your concept space. Postulating that path requires no new knowledge.

"Rogue telepath" is not in demon!Edie's option space, or even the option space of any non-deity entity she's encountered. The telepathy she has encountered doesn't enable that option. Rouge telepaths are probably technically in her concept space - she had access to 20th/early-21st-century Earth fiction - but that doesn't mean she has the concept a telepathic!Edie in her head when formulating what an evil alt would do. Activist -> terrorist is a relatively small and broadly possible transformation. Communicative telepath -> evil telepath is a more complicated path, unless you start with the assumption that the communicative telepath only limits herself to communication because of morals. For demon!Edie, that's not an option, so I doubt she even entertained the concept in the course of considering the question.

Like, if you asked me what an evil!me would do, I could give you answers. These answers would not assume access to any superpowers. If you asked me what an X!me (where X = "evil, and also has some specified superpower") would do, I could make a decent attempt at specifying for a few particular examples of X even though obviously X implies that the world is not the same as mine. If you asked me what a Y!me would do (where Y = "evil, and also has superpowers"), I'd really have only a vague idea; it depend too heavily on the superpowers that I have and how relevant they are to my various non-morality-based goals, not to mention the question of how different the world of Y is otherwise, anyhow. Demon!Edie was asked about an evil version of herself, not an evil version of telepathic_mutant!Edie.

Oh, no, I'm not saying it isn't a perfectly reasonable thing to think. If you asked pre-Van Pattern and pre-recognition Shell Bell what an evil Bell would do they would not be as terrified of the concept as the Silmaril peal.

Although I also find the idea of introducing the Silmaril peal to Vampire!Juliet (whom I mentally call Capulet) to the Silmaril peal entertaining. She is the evilest Bell I can think of and she isn't Bellish enough to actually be as scary as they imagine.

Is this sudoku with added spiders a 'real' thing?

Also note that when Edie says "terrorist" what she basically means is "Original Trilogy X-Men Movieverse Magneto" and Rogue Edie reads minds without permission but doesn't do anything to them, and any given Edie is not going to point to the mind reader if asked "which one's worse" if asked to choose between the two.

That sudoku with spiders is a clever twist. I like it.

I do not know if it is a real thing! Thank you!
I chose spiders because I think if there are ones that can't be solved, they have to come in twos, for each column and row, so two cells each in four boxes, for eight cells, and Night Vale already has a lot of spider-things. I don't know if that is how it would actually work.

Is Hail Seitan based on the place that in our world is in Portland instead of New York, or did you independently come up with the pun? Or am I missing a different potential reference or something?
