Regarding settings and character groups - the character settings and thread settings drawing from the same pool is a neat idea, although I think I use character settings and thread settings somewhat differently, so it might end up getting complicated.

Uploading to Imgur and copying (direct) links over is a relatively common workaround, I think, and some people do it anyway. (To get a direct link, after you upload a gallery, right-click the applicable image and select "copy image address" – I don't think it provides direct links in the sidebar anymore.)

It might be neat to have a character's setting of origin, or setting(s) of frequent appearance, separately from "all settings they have appeared in", though I see the latter being potentially useful. (Unfortunately this would complicate things.)

I'm not sure what replies of Maggie's have that issue, but you could probably do a query for all posts she's responded to and then do it on all replies to those that include the diaeresis thing or the backtick, and modify their text? (It would take a bit longer for the query to run, but I don't think it'd be much longer, and it shouldn't, I don't think, be much more difficult? This is in case nobody mentions/knows the particular threads.)

Well, I am Sigma, so I can provide whatever additional details will help there. I'm currently working around by uploading to Dreamwidth but imgur might be more appropriate.

That stuff sounds really stressful!

So far, I've encountered the punctuation thing in Tale of Two Hells and in Psion Witch and Wardrobes. It's probably on all Maggie's posts for a time range, on or around the evening of 31 July depending on time zone.

There is currently a bug for reordering posts within board sections (should work fine within boards themselves – the issue is just within sections). I have hopefully fixed it, though not in the most elegant way so Marri might need to mess around with things before pushing it (when she gets time to).

Yup! Alicorn tried reordering some threads in a board section, and apparently it's broken (and has been for at least five days?). Those particular threads have been fixed, though, as (will be) the thing that caused it.
