That ["is there anything you wouldn't do" not being in the Silmaril continuity] appears to be for author-access reasons, so that Kappa's character can guest-star without having to change the access rules for the entire continuity.
I think it was in the continuity earlier, before that need arose.
I don't know how you'd implement a more general feature for that.

Re: Sandbox Discussions
Turn into a pumpkin is in the continuity even with kappa there, as are the aestrix threads
Re: Sandbox Discussions
They were moved after writing, I couldn't actually tag the Aestrix thread while it was in the Silmaril community, iirc.

Re: Sandbox Discussions
Yep. It had to be out for the entire time I was participating, but it can be moved back now that I'm done (for now?)
Re: Sandbox Discussions
The entire thread is marked as done; presumably if you participate again it will be in a different thread and maybe after the guest star feature is implemented.

Re: Sandbox Discussions
Oh, huh, last I looked at it it hadn't been marked complete yet. Kay.
Re: Sandbox Discussions
Why does it matter if the charge around Melkor’s summoner is shaped? Presumably surrounding it with a keratin bubble would make it effectively a closed system with conservation of momentum. Failing that, you could conjure counter-shaping near the bomb; this would set it off but in an unshaped manner.

Re: Sandbox Discussions
Daeva and their parts are indestructible, not immobile. If something moves inside something else it doesn't have to damage it to push it; I say this as someone currently pregnant.
Re: Sandbox Discussions
Even explosions (and fetuses) can’t create motion in one direction without also creating motion in the opposite direction (or multiple sorta-opposite directions or whatever). However, I had forgotten that the explosion would push against the bubble itself so could move it, though not very much. I suppose it would be possible to move the keratin bubble somewhat, but no more than one bubble-radius in any direction (or if the bubble were built off-center, no more than one bubble-diameter in a single direction). The bubble must always contain the original center of mass of everything in the bubble. I believe, though could be wrong, that a traditional shaped charge would not even do that. Similarly, if you were on perfectly frictionless ball bearings, Merlin could not move you to another location no matter how he moved, and kicking alone wouldn’t cause you to move even the tiny amount he could cause.
Moving the bubble around could still cause some problems, but I don’t think it could cause world-destroying ones. It probably could cause some pretty big, maybe extinction-level, earthquakes and stuff, though, if the bomb is physically large in addition to being large-yield.

On an unrelated question with the same continuity, does putting a human around a chip copy the human into the chip before or while killing them? In particular, is there a Limboite fork they never checked for?
Regardless of the answer to that, what would a counterfactual Limboite fork’s one item be?
