I tried bullet_go for a bit. I have now swapped to note_go. We'll see how I feel about things after a few days of use.

In other less interesting news, I have been writing tests. Nothing to see here, move along.

Of the icons that have been used, I think I find bullet_go tidiest but would support note_go too.

For some reason, note_go reads better to me, visually. I support that one.

I agree with kappa. Bullet-go has a nice clean aesthetic but either it or note-go is fine.

I'm presently leaning note_go, because a) it's slightly more like this forum's icon and b) my original thought had to do with icon height but turns out it's the same as bullet and c) bullet was feeling a little too unobtrusive and I would like to notice it more. But it took me a few days to come to conclusion c) so we'll see where my head's at after a few days with note.

I upgraded the signup page, it was bothering me. It's now much shinier and the javascript works better.

The stats page now has word count, for no particular reason other than I felt like it. Realized while I was in there there was a bug rendering the page for posts with tags, so fixed that too.

1) I don't strongly care which icon you use but please stop fiddling around with it, it's disconcerting.

2) Icons should maybe be part of the theme?

3) There seems to be a bug on the unread page. Mine currently says there are 26 unread threads, but I only count 19 and if I go to page two of the thing there aren't any threads listed. It's been doing that consistently since I changed my reading habits in a way that leaves me with lots of unread threads most of the time; if there are enough of them some will show up on the second page, but the shown number is always wrong; I'm not sure whether it's always off by seven.
