Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
What's been added to or changed in effulgence's version of the madokaverse?

That's kind of a broad question...?

Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
Yeah, I'm kinda curious about all of the things, there isn't any specific thing I want to know about, just "the list of everything that is in effulgedoka and not in madoka and vice-versa."
Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
The only one I know for sure is Walpurgisnacht being replaced by a different problem in the Effulgence version.
How far do Cloudpine witches need to get from stars in order for them to feel the light? Is this the same as for Samarian angels?
I can’t wait for T’Mir to peal; I imagine somebody will try out starlight at FTL speeds and am curious about the results.

Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
I have nothing resembling an answer on the starlight thing.
Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
Do portalsnake demons, planar shifting, and vampire witch magical accidents all respect world adjacency in the Silmaril sense? If the demons in particular do, are both the one who sent Lúthien to Rewind and the one who sent Kib to Arda from the same world?
Can the Tesseract for some reason not do anything in Hex even if it is taken there?
Can the world adjacency graph change? Random shifts in world adjacency seem like a good reason for summoning starting to work suddenly. If necessary adjacencies could be anchored by continuous interaction, making the Tesseract not having noticed a world disappearing before.
Eru does not seem to respect adjacency in what he can see. Are you thinking that it is the same Eru for all of the Ardar, or merely close alts?

Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
All Silmaril-depicted interworld transit options respect adjacency. The portalsnakes are from one world.
The Infinity Stones in general must remain within one step of Edda.
The adjacency graph has not yet been shown to change but we have not categorically ruled it out.
Erus do in fact respect adjacency. There are lots of Erus. Elentári Eru can see Edda and facts about Edda such as that it has a way to get to Space Arda.

Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
I thought Elentári Eru could see Space Arda directly, given his discussion about its story arc. I guess he was just talking about the story as-told-and-understood-by the worldleapers?
Do you have an alternate explanation for why it seems like Cam was the first summoned being in Space Arda? I suppose he might have not been the first and it was secret like on Standard Daevinity Earth.

Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
He was going off what Loki said plus Vague Eru Powers.
He was the first; the original Space Arda state of affairs was that summoning *usually* didn't work, and then the Valar made it so it would never work, and then the Valar died and now it works all the time.

Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
A convention of Erus should be called an inkling.
