Well, the slavery backstory would fit right in alongside Aya/Spring. And I feel like she'd make a great tribute in Panem. Would either of those examples work, Diaeresis?

the attractor at work is something along the lines of "bad things happen to ellie because she has no power, she acquires power in order to get revenge." aya's magic system is too uncontrolled for her liking, not very exploitable.

she would definitely be a tribute if i put her in panem, probably at a fairly young age. she'd make allies to survive, then show absolutely no qualms killing them at the end. would probably get involved with a resistance against the capitol afterwards, but be frustrated if no progress was being made.

Re: everybody, meet the Slaughterhouse 9

I feel like submitting the following bug report in the Constellation thread:
Bug report: template #190 has an instance who is not dead.
I know it isn’t a bug, but it certainly isn’t a desirable state of the world and I hope you fix it soon.

In the meantime, Alicorn and Pedro get a small tear donation every day that thread updates.

Re: overwhelm them with honesty

How misinformed can one person be? Either this is an AU with wildly different history than standard Arda or there is a lot more misinformation than I would expect.

Yeah, I'm kind of lost. It would be nice if "the King So-and-So", "This Guy's brother That Other Guy", etc were more common than just "the King", "his brother".

Speaking of being lost, it would be nice if the elves had separate “accounts” even if they have no facecasts.

It's a variant grimdark Arda. Grimdarda.

That makes sense; I considered that the description might be in general instead of this specific place or its King but I wasn’t sure.
