We've been having a slight scheduling problem where Alicorn is taking up all of our time and we don't have enough left over to thread with each other XD

Very occasionally we have a little bit of it, but that doesn't seem to have happened in a while. Also it takes me a *lot* of time to get ramped up in the morning sometimes; when Aestrix is online in the mornings it tends to fall within my period of "probably either a little groggy or obsessively trapped in some activity".

I do something similar, I am very much not a morning person, and need to get everything set up perfectly before I marathon write. Doesn't help that I have classes and homework, too xD

I also think that this thread should be for suggesting existing media which could be Effulged, but I think that worldbuilding is fun and I am very into helping other people create settings for their writing, so maybe there should be a thread for creating worlds that others can use as settings if one of them catches their fancy?

Also I think the dragon princess setting is a really neat idea and would like to see it expanded upon.

I was actually thinking in creating something like a "writing group" but it was supposed to be more about exchaging contact information rather than taking up Alicorn's space.

I am glad that you liked the dragon princess thing. I am not sure if I *want* to expand on, I might change dragons for angels (and scales for feathers) or something if I ever re-use the idea, I have too many of these and I really need to just stick to one and write something xP.

Have you considered doing a thread in the universes of Graceling by Kristin Cashore or The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart? I bring them up because Bells and the protagonist of Graceling have a similar Thing about mind-reading, and mass mind-aleteration is a large part of the villain's plan in TMBT. Also, in TMBT, there is a character who is so stubborn and single-minded that she literally breaks the mind-altering machine when she sits in it, which seemed very Jokerish to me. TMBT doesn't really have magic or the like in it, but it's a fun concept nevertheless.

Also, having read previous comments, if there were a Bartimaeus Trilogy thread I might just die of happiness.

How about a world with superheroes or similar not-everybody-can-have-it type magic, where none or at least nearly none of the usual suspects have it and the people who do tend to behave badly? Bonus points if this leads to a situation where at least some of them are against the idea of joining up with the peal on account of 'no, those are obviously bad guys, look at all the magic they have'.
