I believe I'm referring to the same thing.
I don't know how early elves marry, particularly in the case of arranged marriage.
I could also imagine it being brought on by changes of circumstance, particularly by arriving in Valinor, whether by transport or by Mandos.

If they pass through Mandos they might get "fixed" in that regard. But on the other hand, ~Marriage~.

Everyone should know where twilight of the idols, baby comes from.
I am number 63. I'm also ESL, please don't eat me.
Re: Elfthreads!
Might the Valar be more sympatheticly inclined to Cam if he mentions he is a Kinslayee? Given the terms of the canon Doom, and the one clause which bugs me the most (the one about the victims asking for lenience) probably not very much so, but it might be worth bringing up in saying circumstances.
Re: Elfthreads!
Can oaths be partially released? For example:
Tyelcormo: So help me, Huan, I swear never to date or be physically intimate with another blonde again.
*Years pass. There is an application of a Reality Stone which this time does acknowledge the reality of a distinction between Elves and Orcs*
Huan: Tyelcormo, you obviously like Thor and there should be no problem with her. You may do with Thor as you please but I am not releasing you from the rest of your oath.

we suffer greatly
I would worry about whether to expect Valar effects to persist. You could be locking in all their temporary compromises.Re: Elfthreads!
I would not expect them to make many temporary compromises like that.
How often does that Mandos read his backups? Only when the relevant chips have been destroyed? Less than that? It seems he might already have a nanosecond’s warning.
