I mean, she'd judge me less harshly than someone who knew they were dealing with sapients all along but that doesn't mean I'd get away clean.

About Sadde in Fairyland
Thorn should already have Sadde's name from his mom, so feeding him won't work to vassalize him, right? Or does that rule only apply to food from the vassal's hand?

That is general; you are correct. But Sadde has money and other mortals respond to that.

On a different topic, do the engravings inconvenience Huan? I assume so; how is that being dealt with?

The Nolofinweans are paving their camp and engraving every cobblestone, which is smart and which the house of Fëanor can't do. They have their walls done and a gate. This is a less-than-ideal solution and a better one is somewhere on the priorities list, probably behind artillery and currency and such conveniences. At a minimum I'm sure eventually they'll do a labyrinthine entrance to the place so it's effective at delaying intruders.

When Bella is studying little Fëanor like in the part I'm currently reading, I imagine the thread title as "Applied Fëology".
