That is what you used to describe the information available to somebody via webcam/microphone.

EDIT: If you could do any sorcery on just audiovisual information, wouldn’t you be able to do that same sorcery in the mortal world?

Materia's gods are probably more powerful than Ruin, but Ruin probably shouldn't be used as an example of a thing that can kill a fairy. We were making it up as we went along, and the version that got settled on later involves fairies being harder to destroy. At the time, waking up back in the tree was a leaflet-specific thing, only worked if there was at least one copy of the tree, and I think it might have been harder to render a fairy destroyed enough that it comes up. We never did state a lower bound on or offscreen, but we were talking about force on a planetary scale.
(In-thread, Ruin noted that it took effort to kill a fairy. But the fairies then stayed dead.)

By the time the Worm sandbox happened, fairies could be destroyed by Moord Nag or a wall of water wielded as a weapon by Leviathan. Much less destructive than Ruin, but they reincarnate afterward.

I mean doing a gate using a video feed or a telescope plus an audio feed or something along those lines.

I’m curious, are you planning anything in particular with all of these questions? It sounded like you were trying to squeeze a Sadde into Fairyland, but I’m not sure if that has anything to do with pure audiovisual casting.

You cannot do a gate on just video feed info.

If you can do sorcery based on audiovisual it doesn't follow that you can do it in the mortal world; lack of information is not the barrier there, harmonic noise that destroys magical attempts is.

I'm planning stuff, not necessarily in particular, but Sadde wants to munchkin the heck out of sorcery and for that they need information.

Can inhaled mortal fruit juice vapour or spray be used to envassal a fairy? How much of it would be necessary?

What happens when a fairy is shot in the head?

Inhalation doesn't inherently not work but inhaling a comestible seems like it shouldn't, to me.

The fairy is unconscious and lies there for a longass time gradually recovering.

What other things than a comestible would work, though, if inhaled?

Pollencloud pollen works, but humans mostly don't have things that function this way.
