Re: Characters being weird
I want wishcoins and to take over the world and to summon a saddepile
Re: Characters being weird
Me too! And I'd get a Theo-pile, or rather, since they wouldn't Theo-pile much, I'd want a Theo-room. Evs can appear and be a little bit pile-ish and get all the Theos to mingle nicely, and Rachels can form hugpiles and/or rooms of cute romcoms with ice cream and lots of being cute.pedromvilar wrote:I want wishcoins and to take over the world and to summon a saddepile
Also complain about Theos. Rachels can totally do that. But they're likely to be nice about it.
Williams can commiserate about how weird their children are. Victorias can be annoyed that they've been taken away from important things, but also be sad about how some alternate-children turned out.

None of my characters form piles.

...I'm not sure what demanding things is supposed to accomplish. Breaking the fourth wall is a thing that happens, and demands to the author in such situations aren't generally met with the kind of compliance you mostly seem to be assuming.
Re: Characters being weird
That’s why I said I would request deus ex machina, and why I specifically requested something which would probably not interfere with the story (as with the case of Adelene getting Kappa to give Sparkle a Keeper-afterlife).

Re: Characters being weird
Me: Who the hell is writing about me? It can't be me, since I would introduce some magic ASAP... Hey author person, wouldn't it be more fun if I had some magic of some sort? Also let me meet all the characters from everywhere in piles/nerding groups.
Amy: *chats with author 24/7*
Flora: *attempts to convince author to make the world be nice and no-death*
Zane: okay then *shrug*
(At least from my point of view, I am hoping for compliance, and trying to make them see that it'll be more fun this way, but not expecting it.)

The WAFFLES will submit to this indignity.

Re: Characters being weird
I tend to get along pretty well across the self-insert/author divide. I have no reason to think this trend might someday fail.
Re: Characters being weird
Personally, I imagine that if I've become aware that I'm fictional, there's decent odds the author's given up on keeping me in a coherent story, and so simulating an ideal existence is as reasonable a use of his time as any.
Of course, if he hasn't, then not only am I not getting what I ask for, I am probably royally fucked. But given that eventuality, I lose nothing by my request. (Which, in my case, is to live in a cottage in the forest with medication that actually works, eating regularly and not worrying about outside factors and writing eight hours a day.)
