The Glowfic Constellation

Do you have a setting, character, plot, art, or other notion that you wish to put on the Internet? This is the Internet! Whee!

Hm, can't immediately reproduce. Where in the process of changing was the error page? Which icons? My avatar code was a little janky to support some old development-environment stuff, but I have now torn it out.

Have fixed the Firefox bug*, but to make it easier, your Last Used Character is now "last character you posted with" instead of "last character you selected from the dropdown". This is fixable if people prefer the old version, but sans data it was faster this way.

*It will still be buggy if your characters happen to have identical names. Haven't come up with a decent way around this yet. Firefox, why do you do these things to me.

I was looking at a single icon, I clicked "make Avatar" because I was trying to make it the default icon for the character (yes I know now that is not how you do it), and it went to the error page.

And when you got to a non-error page it was in fact successfully your avatar or no?

It was. That was why I had to fix it.

As a workaround for the common case, perhaps it could be made buggy only if they have identical names and identical screen-names?

This does not seem to work, Thiago editing his post made the thread appear in the threads owed page.

Thank you for the report. A) This is why you test your code, kids and B) = is not the same as ==. I think this is now fixed.

Bug report: when I use a character to tag Throne3d on one of our sunny threads (call it Thread 1), then go tag him on another (Thread 2), while I'm writing the post it shows me the last character used for Thread 2 but when I actually post it the character used is the last one I used on Thread 1 instead.

Ugh, people keep reporting this bug and I can't get it to reproduce, grump grump grump. Did you at any point change characters in the character picker? What browser are you using?
