Re: A Glowfic IRC Channel
The MWF did have IRC transcripts; did they not help?
Re: A Glowfic IRC Channel
There was far too much IRC transcript to keep track of, and then I got a few days behind and it became much harder to catch up.

Re: A Glowfic IRC Channel
I find it really hard to read IRC transcripts with the only temporal data being timestamps, which are hard to parse quickly enough to get a sense of what lines are likely to be responding to which others. It can get to be so many interleaved conversations.
Re: A Glowfic IRC Channel
If someone didn't mind writing summaries of IRC transcripts, that could be nice (at least a very vague idea of topics covered, like: "Throne's new character Rachel, Rockeye's character *Mute and her backstory, ..."), but I don't think I'd be up for that and I don't know if anybody else would be.

I think that if we have summaries, then we can also have IRC transcripts? It sounds like the only one that is hard to have is the summaries, since they can't be automated...
Sorry for my bad english

Oh yeah, I didn't mean instead of transcripts, since the original logs would probably be more helpful in some scenarios.
I'm not sure what sort of system would be good, but I guess having a forum post that contains replies with spoiler boxes of logs would make the most sense? Probably with dates and timestamps (and the timezone, so it's less confusing).

Re: A Glowfic IRC Channel
Has anyone set up transcripts?
Re: A Glowfic IRC Channel
I think that’s probably best left to Lambda. Most other people have logged out at least once.

Anyone happen to know a plugin for Adium that lets you have two different sets of chats? I use it for work and would rather keep the set of chats I follow for fun and the work ones separate. (I'm conceptualizing this like two accounts, but accounts means something different in the IRC context so I haven't been able to google it.)

Here is a link to a log of what happened in the channel up to the point where Mother Starlight (the logging bot) joined.
