Cam's understanding of Limbo comes from letters from his parents, who lucked out in their stuff. There are less pleasant pockets, to be sure. If Cam were in *Limbo* with demon powers he could shake stuff up, which is why he asked to go there in the sandbox with Teah.

It does not need to be something that they previously owned or interacted with but it will be limited by their imagination-in-life - and not their literal imagination but the sort of thing they actually tended to think of. Things that require infrastructure (electrical appliances, plumbing) just continue to work in spite of the absence of these things.

Limboites quite often appear inside the borders of populated Limbo.

Sorry, but it really should be the other way around, not only you put humans there, you put nearly all humans.

Did you thought/specified what Renée and Charlie got? Given this information it could be their real life houses or stuff like, a big comfy mobile home for Renée and a cabin-by-that-Forks-river for Charlie.

Sorry for not making it clear, when I was talking about infrastructure, I was specifically thinking about internet and other "information stuff"... like, many people wouldn't care about having a phone, tv or computer without the relevant networks, but many people would care/prefer to get the said networks even if at a limited range while borrowing stuff from other people.

I guess it is likely safer/luckier for them than appearing only at borders.
Sorry for my bad english

What causes unleashed demons to choose to rampage on Earth that doesn't also cause them to e.g. create a black hole on the plane of gold?

Why hasn't the plane of gold collapsed into a sphere under its own gravity?

I would guess that 1)The other demons don't consistently treat them as objects/animals/slaves 2)You can actually cause lasting damage on Earth.

Well, Bluelantern, if you write Daevinity fanfiction you may feel free to write Limbo as a miserable hellhole, but I wanted to do something that pivoted away from pre-Bell Downside and have made different choices.

Renée has an RV that matches no vehicle she owned in life and Charlie has his ordinary Forks house.

Demons don't rampage all that much on Earth, just enough to make people thoroughly paranoid. The kind that take summonses tend to find humans entertaining on some level and do not want to literally destroy the planet. At the same time, human victims are much more entertainingly breakable than demonic victims, who you can make pretty uncomfortable but not permanently and not without roughly equivalent repercussions. Any demon suspected of destroying the plane of gold would have a large quantity of other demons very put out.

The plane of gold has not collapsed under its own gravity because I am bad at physics.

Plausibly top of a “list of things an afterlife would be incomplete without” is ‘a computer with Internet access’. Is that something Limbo could provide, perhaps in a limited form?

"The internet" is, fundamentally, a network between people. Limbo cannot provide you with people as part of your thing.

But could it provide a computer capable of networking with other Limboites whose things are also computers with internet access?

As a matter of historical fact, it has not done so.

(Moved from here.)

If a summoner tries to summon a particular individual daeva, and that daeva chooses not to answer the summons, is the result on the summoner's end obviously different from if the circle were completely invalid?

How close to horizontal does the circle need to be in order to work? How close to perfectly circular? Do conlangs work for specifying stuff?

If you draw a circle on a vertical surface and then rotate the surface to be horizontal, does the circle activate? Is the summoner the person who finished drawing the vertical circle, or the person who rotated the surface to horizontal?
