...and now I'm thinking we need terms for the degrees of relatedness. I think it goes: World -> Sheaf -> Continuity -> Genre.
Come to think of it, Elcenia-the-continuity is a member of the Effulgenceoid-genre on its own.

Well, the premise is "Rhysel in the summoning circle", so it's as qualified as any Chalk thread. The only unusual thing about it is that it contains only original settings, so it's not any kind of crossover fanfiction.
The more general pattern is: highly proactive characters make interdimensional first contact, resulting in sharing magic/technology for mutual fun and profit and social benefit. Those aren't the only template attractors (e.g., there's usually a romance subplot), but that's the basic shape of the plot.
