Yup. I think Jinx is from league of Legends?
Jinx is originally from League of Legends, yes, but my incarnation of her is an Eva.

If you have some sort of mental time perception ability (you can slow down or speed up your mind, but not your body), that wouldn’t help much in escaping the Shadows. Would it let you think for longer without Stalling, or do they measure subjective time somehow?

I was thinking of dropping Temple in shadopolis, the relevant magical systems are such that he could be eligible for abduction even if it is late in his life cycle. Or he could be taken when he was a first-life-teenager. Or he could land there his usual way of just appearing there and start teaching magic.
Sorry for my bad english

A thing that could happen is that a Portalbold could run into a Shadopolis abductee in Milliways, go 'yep, your world definitely needs some help; nope, I can't personally do it' and compromise by leaving a pair of rings with Bar, one to let someone teleport to wherever the Shadopolis person's door let out and the other to let them teleport back to Milliways. (Optionally: Multiple ring pairs, Bar having a way to get in touch with her for special requests, a durable twineportal-equivalent to allow them to buy things from Bar without having to teleport back to Milliways, maybe other things?)

Coffee
Use of alcohol for 'I need a goddamn drink' purposes
Vaping

Basically the category of 'I am physically or psychologically dependent on this thing, but that's okay because I always have access to it and it is not actively running or ruining my life."
The trouble Eva has is that she has so many parallel lives, all with their own independent 'one thing' that they need to get through the day, that when that experience is condensed together she would be forced to do nothing but deal with hundreds of petty little addictions. Thus, the Restricted Section.
