Pedro's Point

Do you have a setting, character, plot, art, or other notion that you wish to put on the Internet? This is the Internet! Whee!

- One of the coins you started with was a defanged star and you used it to wish really good mental defenses; now you can't edit your own brain with wishcoins.
- Someone else put anti-mint protocols in place (to maintain their empire?) that include a wish preventing anyone from wishing to be (being?) a masochist
- You're from some non-human species with much lower sensation-processing power; you just aren't capable of experiencing any sensation more intense than pentagons, and a wish to do so would be major structural editing to your brain
- You've never heard of the concept of masochism before, and "enjoy experiencing pain" is a weird enough concept not to occur to you on its own
- You can make yourself as masochist-y as you want but don't have a way to inflict much pain without risking death (you're unusually medically fragile; maybe a heart condition, so just using an agony beam isn't a solution?)

Not thrilled with any of those, though.
- None of the characters I've considered for this setting (Sadde and Chell, really) would think to wish for that as their first wish
- Something along these lines was what I had in mind, I'll elaborate later
- Meh
- Both characters are smart enough to not let that stop them
- Meh

Why not?

You can't use a pentagon to give yourself a permanent pain generation power. We haven't ruled on temporary pain generation powers, but you could easily decide that for your purposes they were not coinable.

There were still the coin generation "calculators" before that.

Oh, that's true. Yes, if you manage to think of the "calculator" angle, it'll work.

also from amounts of dragons, a thingy with buttons corresponding to different coins that inflict the appropriate amount of pain on whoever presses the button.

I wonder how confusing it will be to have Fresh Start’s Willow played by you when presumably she is not a member of your Willow template.

To me, not confusing at all, I don't think? They're really really really different characters.

I just find name collisions, or even near-collisions, confusing sometimes. It can’t really be helped though.
