Blair was probably hoping for a "No" response to that question. The Shadow is happy to be inconvenient right back at Blair.

I'm amused that that Shadow's preferences seem to have been realigned to a listing/not listing axis.

I'm a little worried that Blair won't know as much about the common, non-customizable aspects of the cards he considers. Some very important things might fall through there. By his current method, he could miss the entire price of a card - of the Empress, say.

He was told “If you choose this card, we will come for you again. We will mean to kill you.”; it’s not the Shadow’s responsibility to remind him.

But asking about all the customization options is an important step, even if he should be asking other questions and he is not.

I’m waiting for somebody to say “Okay, that’s it. What are all of the relevant details about all of the cards?”

Are the precogs in that world good enough to perform dictionary attacks on computer usernames and passwords? I suppose somebody Yvette’s new sister knows is likely a good enough hacker that it doesn’t matter, and Yvette doesn’t yet realize that her new sister is also from a different world (though she might suspect).
