What we're looking for is a description (other than snake with a mirror for a face). Is there no description?

Ah, as far I can remember that is the description... I'm sort of remembering it having chrome-metallic scales but that might be me filling the gaps.

The short story is called Hubward, found here: http://alicorn.elcenia.com/stories/hubward.shtml, but contains a non-portalsnake demon. I didn't manage to find a great description because I can't really remember where they've shown up besides Holly & Crystal sandboxen (found here: inourhead.dreamwidth.org/334.html), which describes them without much detail (floorlength mirror with a snake attached).

I think that’s the best description available. They also randomly carried somebody (Sable?) to Terraria, Aurin to Sunnydale, and Tialle’s Demon to Kaja di Ragnar. I can’t remember any other uses, but I think some more exist.

Kithabel is a lot more powerful that Ertai in most cases. I suppose if she were a magic card there would be some (large, increasing) cap on the converted mana cost of spells she could counter, but she can do a lot more than counter spells.
