Cosel Halos

If it's germane, yet doesn't fit into another category, it can go here.

I will be delighted if you enjoy trying! I will also separately be delighted if you produce usable results! <3

Yay! =D
Would you like me to make more like it? If you would, which photos/expressions would you like to be done first?

I'm currently too busy to answer that question in as much depth as I'd like, and I know I'm going to forget all about it by tomorrow if someone else doesn't post in this thread to remind me, so here is me asking to be reminded several hours from now that I totally mean to come back and answer that question.

Thank you for the reminders, everyone! <3

I don't have any particular preferences about which expressions should be done first, although smiles and shirtlessness are always good places to start when you're dealing with a Joker.

I would definitely appreciate more like the one you did, and it's likely that I could find many of them usable! Here are some notes on what would make future ones more usable, spoilerboxed in case you do not feel like hearing criticism at this time.
kappaperfectionism
  • That one really sharp pixel-y line down in the corner is a no-go; I need natural-looking smooth lines or gradual transitions. The picture is still usable because the best parts aren't near the jagged line, but it would improve usability if future jagged lines were smoothed or smudgified in some way.
  • Although it's not necessary for every single image, it's necessary for at least some images to have fire around his head and face. (Insert "flames on the side of my face" joke here.) It might be tricky to pull it off, so you're free to skip it if you want.
  • For extra special bonus points, you can try to include some glowy highlights as though the fire is actually lighting nearby surfaces like his skin/walls/whatever. But I bet it would be hard to get that looking right too, and it's not strictly necessary; I can fiddle with that kind of thing myself a lot easier than I can paint fire in the first place.
