Yvette thinks deicide is probably close enough to blasphemy that she can just toss deicide under its blanket and compact the complicated set of things she would do when faced with a god she disapproves of into one simple word. Easier that way.

Honestly I think most gods consider (at least) their own deicide a blasphemy against them. Evem omnicidal and suicidal gods might not make a exception.

Also, Yvette <3

I’ve always heard the term specifically refer to speech, not other crimes against God or gods. Not keeping the Sabbath might be a sin, but it is not blasphemy.

In any case, yes, Yvette is great.

I wonder if/how they will interact with Rosalie. Carlisle should come across her any month now. I expect she won’t like Yvette much more than she did Bella in either canon or Luminosity, for the same reasons. On the other hand, they might decide to skip large parts of it. I highly doubt the Cullens in this sandbox will be in the same place—metaphorically; they might be physically—in 2005 when Bella is due to arrive in Forks if the rest of the world doesn’t get derailed too badly.

EDIT: Originally said “The Carlisle” due to poor proofreading after changing the sentence, but it kind of fits. He is unique enough that he should get some sort of title.

I just considered an omnicidal god who thinks not existing is pretty great and would praise anyone who managed to kill it.

Hmm. If someone very picky in food came into Milliways, what would happen if they ordered a surprise? Or if they ordered "potatoes" would Bar know how they like it?

Bar claims she does not have an actual magic ability to know what people like or extra relevant senses, but I don’t believe her. I don’t think there is enough information available given standard senses to do as good a job as she does. In any case, I expect Bar would provide food the customers like in both cases.

Just because her ability to tell what people like is not direct and magic doesn't mean she's limited to standard senses.

She’s been evasive when asked about those, if I remember correctly. Maybe she did not actually deny them and maybe I misremember.
