Arts!

If it's germane, yet doesn't fit into another category, it can go here.

The star-explosion window is really weirdly placed...

I think some people must come in the side door on their first time occasionally. Or the window is sometimes really long so it doesn't take much turning around in the confused area.

The window is often quite long. If you walk in and turn your head to the left you can see enough to walk in another step and look from a better angle.

This is *basically* the floorplan I had developed in my head, except that the doors and windows are all in the wrong places. For example, my mind placed the front door roughly where the bathrooms apparently are, the splodey window was on the wall opposite that, the stairs were closer to the right (where infirmary/security apparently are), the fireplace was closer on the left of that (in the apparently empty corner), and the booth area was much larger in my mind.

Which, come to think of it, is very similar to the problem I have when reading fantasy books where my mind flips all the places of things east-west, except... without any actual east/west. Flipping this map left-right puts everything where I would expect it to be, with the exception of the front door (but it does put the *side* door where I expected the front door to be, which isn't too far wrong.)

My brain's Milliways floorplan is somewhat more impossible. The front door, back door, and Bar are all pretty much in the same configuration relative to each other, but according to my brain, all along the left side of the map there is nothing but booths and every single other interesting thing (Window, stairs, bathrooms, fireplace/couches, staff accomodations, Security office, infirmary) is all on the right side, with individual items existing or not existing at particular moments depending on what's been mentioned recently. It all works out in my head, but when I try to draw it, it looks totally insane.

I flip things East-West too. I find it interesting that others do that.

My Milliways map was a lot less detailed. It had Bar, the front door, and the side door all in the same place as the l this map, the Window on the right side, and nothing else really going anywhere in particular.

I pictured Bar and the window along the same wall, and possibly the window running behind her.

I also pictured booths and other seating all being in the same place, appearing on a case-by-case basis for whatever the bar happened to want that time.

I pictured the exploding stars window off to the right as well.

Alicorn, do you have / can you draw a chart of Elcenian dragon horns? I'm re-reading Elcenia, and want to make fan art, and the scene I want to draw has a bunch of horn shapes I don't know. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, or if you don't want to do anything Elcenia-related. I just figured I'd ask, so I could get the picture as accurate as possible.
