It's me.

Smallgod is a failed experiment inspired by the Downside Admin. He likely will not be appearing again.

...It's possible that I read "Eidolon as Wheatley" as "Eidolon at Whateley" and became very afraid.

Of what, I do not know. But I'm sure it would be made clear pretty quickly.

How would the characters (one by one / in different combinations) react to the infinite loops? http://infinite-loops.wikia.com/wiki/Background

I said 'smolgod', actually. And that's too bad, he looked pleasant.

Promise just asked for comments, which prompted me to wonder what would happen to Contessa’s power if she went to Fairyland herself. Would she then see Fairyland but not mortal worlds?

The shard is still located in some mortal world somewhere. Probably the one with Cauldron's main mine, now that I think of it. I'd let it keep seeing mortal worlds with the same blind spots as usual, since it was never dependent on her eyes for information, and also Fairyland in some undetermined but large radius around her. Can't be all of it because Fairyland is literally infinite and the shard isn't. (This probably doesn't mean it instantly drains itself as soon as she uses her power while in Fairyland, but it totally could.)

I had a great entrance planned for her the first time she walked into Fairyland; she'd be able to notice the complete lack of blind spots in this entire world, release a butterfly for no apparent reason, and have a freak weather accident save someone's bacon months later. But it conflicted with Eidolon being an idiot, so that happened instead.

The butterfly was funny, but incorrect you should've used a seagull instead.

I am completely confused about why a seagull instead of a butterfly. Butterfly fits the 'butterfly effect' - it's thematically appropriate.

You’re one of today’s lucky 10,000.

Chaos theory is the mathematical area studying how small changes in the starting conditions of some systems can cause large changes later. It was discovered by somebody doing a weather simulation, and noticing that when he redid a simulation with only three digits after the decimal instead of six digits, it looked completely different.

This difference in the fourth decimal place was likened to a butterfly flapping its wings, and the difference in results was like causing or preventing a tornado later.
