Now imagining sandboxing measuretwice discussing gender with e.g. Pletha, because measuretwice has a minority gender in his world.

(He is too shy and not "awake" for me to actually attempt this, but I can imagine things of what it could be like.)

It occurs to me that portalbold cameos are a way of getting characters from one world to another, if anyone wants to do that. The obvious way to do it is, the person meets her in the course of her random explorations, mentions that they don't like their home world, receives and takes her up on an offer of a portal to a new one. This generally also means that the person receives a magic item (probably a ring, but she can come up with other items or use one of theirs or cast on them directly) that allows them to teleport between the worlds at will, and an item that allows them to teleport back to her experimental cave once. The former can allow for taking passengers, too, if this would be a realistic thing for the person to ask for.

She could also set someone up with a set of 'teleport to a random world' and 'teleport home' spells, if a character wants to do their own random exploration. In that case, there's a limit that the person can't get to the same random world twice. They may or may not be able to take passengers - it might be possible to talk her into allowing them to do it, but there's a serious risk of someone getting stranded in a strange world, so she's not going to be willing to give that option to anyone who doesn't seem trustworthy enough.

A golden man drops from the sky. Golden skin, hair a differently colored gold, dressed in a white suit that makes his color scheme oddly indistinguishable from blue and black.
Is somebody using a power which screws up the white balance of the fight?

I assumed it was something I didn't understand about afterimages.

I thought it was a reference to the dress, a photo of a dress that many people see as white and gold, while others see it as blue and black. The dress itself is unambiguously the latter; it’s only the photo’s poor white balance which causes this illusion.

It was the dress. No deep meaning there, or complicated details either.

(The Leviathan fight also contained references to: The Lord of the Rings, Hamilton, Spider-Man, the Bible, and Worm. And I missed an incredible chance for the Incredibles.)

Nemo's references bring me great joy. <3 Although I didn't catch most of those.
