So update! And explanation for the section with no threads thing.

After running the scrapers I got an email from Heroku being all "YOU HAVE EXCEEDED YOUR SPACE LIMIT." Turns out, importing an Effulgence section plus a whole metric fuckton of characters and icons and so on is a lot of database stuff, and we have a 10k limit because it's a free plan. And after the scrapers ran, we hit 13k xD Soooo the Effulgence import has gone away, as have all of Alicorn's icons, and potentially more things I just scraped will poof shortly as well. Upgrading to the next size up gets us 10M rows instead of 10k, but it's $9/month and like the domain, I'd rather not pay it till I have to.

tl;dr we ran out of space so the things went away

Lambda wrote:What's the purpose of the database wipe? Could one of the requirements for considering the site done be an import/export tool, so that we can keep the stuff we want to keep, while still allowing you to clean the dust and crumbs out of the database?
Purpose is mostly to clean dust and such, yes. Get rid of old test data floating around, anything old and misformatted, etc etc. If people think they're likely to want to keep things, then sure, and we should look at the kinds of things they want to keep :) Cause technically "I did all this work for my characters and icons" is likely to be very different from "I wrote this thread and want to keep it", and I'm curious to see which/both people wind up favoring.

I am philosophically opposed to things being lost. I want to keep threads regardless of whether they're worth keeping.

I made a facecast thing mostly out of curiosity. Full changelog for the past day or so will come once I see how much I get done on the plane.

Is there a way to rename a template name, or am I just missing it? I would like to change MalAaliyah to MalAladdin for Reasons.

I know I added rename for galleries, I don't remember if it exists for templates? It will go on my plane list.

I keep on getting "We're sorry, but something went wrong" when trying to edit things.
