She is currently dependent on this person for food and guidance and should stay quiet. She is currently dependent on this person for food and guidance and should stay quiet. She is currently dependent on this person for food and guidance and should stay quiet. She is -
So uh

Gonna go out on a limb here and say that maybe, perhaps, Shara/Aril might possibly not be a thing?

Yeah, they seem to have one of the worst Ari/Bell relations. Presumably because the others don't mind control random peasants.

In addition to the tragic straightness, of course.

I was really excited about this sandbox until that line. Not funny Aril :/

You mean that Aril offered to fix the trag straightness? I actually don't quite get why Shara reacted so badly to the offer. Plus, I don't think Aril would mind.
Sorry for my bad english

Exalted is the kind of setting where mind-controlling random peasants, but compensating them for it, is among the nicest things you could be doing. (An important note is that Creation doesn't really have the same sex rules as Earth - it's a much more casual thing. It'd be more like mind-controlling people to dance for your amusement, on the continuum of such things.)

Also, Solars are kind of contractually obligated to be awful people in at least one way. It's a thing.

Naveis Mirai would like to disagree with that last part.

Just because it's a Thing doesn't mean a Miles can't get out of it. Conversely, just because it doesn't apply to a Miles doesn't mean it's not a Thing.

I think the part Mirai disagreed with was the contractual obligation.
