Pixiethreads is the cutely pseudoanagrammatic kappa & Aestrix RP comm. They're kicking it off with an Adarin & Ansharil+Aianon-except-they-probably-won't-be-named-that AU. I am excited :)

is this why adarin already had a translation spell when we met Amariah, because before he went to visit this dragon and he needed to cast a translation spell on himself while he was there?

These are different continuities. I imagine Chamomile Adarin expected it to be more complicated to get chamomile without talking to anyone than this one expected it to be to find fruit on an apparently uninhabited island without talking to anyone.

Alicorn's got it right. Chamomile's Adarin was aware that there were people on the plane he was going to, and he reacted accordingly by figuring out a translation spell. Pixie's Adarin thought that it was abandoned and figured he could just pop in, grab some fruit, and leave with no fuss. Interestingly enough there was far less planning on the latter's part - the find was so great that he was literally willing to drop everything and go there ASAP. Chamomile's Adarin got slowly fed up and needed a good excuse to talk to people that didn't want to get into his pants or didn't immediately know who he was.
