He liked her because she reminded him of Jean, she liked him because he was very pretty, they dated for a few months and had an amicable breakup.

That is dissapointing, it is like the characters aren't optimized to pointless drama.

Jean and Scott at some point started dating; they remained in a stable relationship without the shit Marvel Comics decided to throw in because suffering is their bread and butter. Other relationships existed but I don't have them very well established in my head.

She's half-succubus. You know that stuff she was saying about how a succubus or incubus can damage someone's ability to withhold consent? That happened to her parents.
