Correction: I have now *finished* Skin Deep. Well, caught up with it, hunted down its RSS feed, and subscribed to it. Actually I did that last night, or perhaps technically early Tuesday morning, but this is a thing I do sometimes.

Alicorn, I guess I can't actually blame you for causing the insomnia this time, since you just pointed me the way, so I'll just say thank you!

To the curious bystanders: I read both Summons and Luminosity in basically all-nighter marathons. This is a thing Alicorn's writing has now been demonstrated to do to me. Her reaction to the second time (first time was on a different PC and I don't ahve the log handy) was

Alicorn has, through her writing, cost me much lost sleep and also some social friction due to ignoring the family I was visiting for the holidays in favor of reading Luminosity and Radiance. It's just so absorbing!

I find that the juxtaposition of Clarity Bell and Blueberry with Stormy and Mathilde makes both pairs extra adorable. Hooray for Bells and Matildas with large age differences who work together!

Mathilde and Stormy's age difference isn't huge, but Matildas are ludicrously precocious, so it seems like more than it is.
