Who's this Trouble-labeled gentleman in the summoning circle? Unless Trouble is secretly the Ellimist or something, I'm pretty sure he's not the same guy. He's certainly fixing things with a very Jokery flair.

I designated Trouble's journal as the generic one for Jokers of his PB. This is another EK-Joker who is otherwise distinct from Trouble. His basic premise is about what you see: a Joker who is God while they sleep, and can only affect the world through answering prayers but gets a pretty free hand in how he does it.

I am having enormous quantities of fun with him. He's relatively unlikely to show up in Effulgence, but sending him on a jaunt to Elcenia to answer a bunch of prayers is turning out pretty delightful :D

So if he's a god when he sleeps and can answer prayers and such- I assume he is not a god when awake? Is he, when he is awake, aware that he is a god when asleep?

Nope! If he ever, when awake, figures out that he's a god when asleep, he will immediately fall asleep and be impossible to wake up again by any mundane means until his mortal form eventually dies and he subsequently reincarnates in the next available incipient life whose circumstances are likely to broadly fit Joker attractors.
