I think Aslan might nope her but I'm not firm on that. She ought to work on Callahan just fine from an object level perspective but Callahan probably has the metacausal clout to avoid it ever coming up. The Barashin gods don't have names in the correct sense.

I'm pretty sure it's canonical for Narnia that Aslan has...nine names, I think? There's no guarantee that even if he could be envassaled, Aslan is the name that could do it.

Plus, the closest thing we have to a name for the Abrahamic God is "YHWH," "I am that I am," translating essentially to "I am God, and if I do have a name then hearing it would melt your brain out your ears."

Whether Jesus would work depends on whether you're into the literal-Trinity argument; if Jesus is but an aspect of YHWH, see above, but if Jesus is truly the son of God and Man, I'd argue his name to be true enough.

Having recently reread Narnia, I have absolutely no memory of it mentioning him having nine names. This could just be that I didn’t notice it.

At one time in canon, Lucy cast a spell causing things to become visible, and Aslan became visible and said that Lucy did that to him. She objected that there was no way she could have forced him to become visible, and he said that of course he obeyed the rules he made. To me, this implies that he could nope the vassalization, but he might not do so even if he didn’t make those rules.

AndaisQ, as the author of the closest thing to the Abrahamic god in glowfic, could she nope vassalization if she was, say, fed something?

Some quick searching around suggests that it is the centaurs in The Silver Chair who speak of the nine names of Aslan.

Someone please persuade me that YHWH is not a Joker.

Then again, AndaisQ kinda is, so who knows?

-------------------------------------

From from whence:
"...What are you?" she (judging by the voice) wants to know.
-----------

"Confused," he declares.
From the conversation between Pen and Clarity Bell:
Pen: *dubious look*

Clarity: "Oh wow, what are you?"

Pen: "...confused!"
Is this going to become a theme?

My YHWH declines enthusiastically to be a joker, and I'm fairly sure the standard-issue God of Abraham is significantly too nasty for its power level to be even vaguely related to the template.

I'm going to rule, absent word of Alicorn, that YHWH or any similarly Administratorly being could in fact nope vassalization. Possibly by instinctually eradicating it as a concept.
