Manual: "I show them a form of the [Wizard]'s Oath, and they recite it and become [wizard]s." (It manages to avoid terminology conflicts.)

Leekath: "What do [wizards] do?"

Manual: "A [wizard] can change the properties of things by convincing them to be other than they are. The Speech, which is the language I am written in, is an important tool for [wizard]s in this practice."

Cayra: "…oh, it's probably not on the knowflowers, is it. Sure, yes, please."

Lorica: "…okay, as cape delusions go, 'can and will get rid of Endbringers' is very much on the prosocial end, go you."

Teah: "Yeah I'm not one of those. Got any other nice wishes you'd like granted?"

Lorica: *pulls up a list, rattles it off*

Teah: "Well, you're very organized. One thing at a time, though..." *progresses through list*

Sabrina: "So, I heard you could teach people pyrokinesis?"

Cayra: "Uh, I don't know pyromancy personally, because it's a super bad idea to pick up."

Sabrina: "Oh. For any particular reason, or just that fire is scary?"

Cayra: "No, because pyromancy comes with emotional dysregulation as its vice, so they get a little angry and then they get a lot angry and then everything is on fire."

Sabrina: "Okay, that... that's something I personally should stay the hell away from. I'm going to go over there." *leaves in a hurry*

Ann: "So I was told you could give people magic for an emotional price. Is it possible to learn to magically heal people?"

Cayra: "…That's an incorrect description of things. But yes, it is possible to learn to magically heal people."

Ann: "Oh. Could you please tell me what would be a more correct explanation, then?"

Cayra: "There are flowers that you can learn things from, including magic, but learning the magic comes with vices. In the case of healing, loss of the ability to conceptualize personhood."

Ann: "Please explain? That doesn't sound good."

Cayra: "It's kind of hard to figure out exactly what's going on with them, because by the time they're deep into it they don't know that they're people, either."

Ann: "Oh. That's a noble sacrifice from the people who do it for the greater good, but I don't think I could take that. I'm sorry for disturbing you."

Cayra: "No problem."

Lucy: "Hi, I'm Lucy. I heard you could teach me to fly."

Cayra: "I don't know how to fly myself yet. There's two ways to do it, automancy or aeromancy."

Lucy: "Which one's cooler?"

Cayra: "I picked automancy for the other stuff it can do and because I think I'll still be mostly myself when I've got a ton of its vice, but aeromancy will get you flying faster if that's all you want. It will make you extremely claustrophobic though."

Lucy: "That means afraid of small places, right? That's okay, who needs planes when you can fly without them."

Cayra: "In extreme cases it makes it pretty hard to go indoors, be in small alucines, or walk through forests."

Lucy: "But on the other hand you could fly."

Cayra: "Yes, on the other hand you could fly. If you don't want to do anything but fly and hang out in open fields, aeromancy is for you."

Lucy: "Can you lift people and fly with them? Flying alone would get boring at some point."

Cayra: "Yeah, aeromancers can do that if they're good enough at it."

Lucy: "Then I want to learn to fly."

Cayra: "Yeah, okay, knock yourself out." *hands over knowflower*

Lucy: "How do you use this thing? Do you eat it?"

Cayra: "No. You just… wow, this is hard to explain. You think at it."
