Make My Characters Talk To Each Other
Re: Make My Characters Talk To Each Other
Yeah um. Also Kappa and I seem to be bad at having our characters talk to each other. We are both distracted little butterflies.

Re: Make My Characters Talk To Each Other
I have legit forgotten every single kappa+aestrix conversation request. XD

Kithabel and @sixseeds
Addy and Cayra
Addy and Meea, because Addy conveniently lacks a finite lifespan.

Re: Make My Characters Talk To Each Other
I can go check, but don't have the spoons to check everything, make a list, then work out with Kappa about making it happen, especially when it's as long as our list of requests has grown. xD

Kithabel: "...and this is something you're totally okay with. Happy about."
@sixseeds: "Yes. I am. I don't know why that's so hard to understand."
Kithabel: "But you also advocate totally ignoring whether someone would be happy if they knew the way you know, when considering whether to dose them."
@sixseeds: "The ideal's open dosing, but some situations just don't work out like that."
Kithabel: "And you think a relationship that is such a situation will tend to be a happy one?"
@sixseeds: "It does imply some fragility, but some people break up when they lose a child or fall on financial hard times or something, that doesn't mean they should have never reproduced or combined bank accounts."
Kithabel: *sigh*

Cayra: "...but, of course, they all have their vices."
Addy: "Don't care, gimme a flower :D"
Cayra: "...how about no. you will go insane and set everything on fire and try to take over the world only to find that you can't tell anyone what to do effectively without receptive language etcetera etcetera."
Addy: "Aw, c'mon."
Cayra: "Noooope."
---------
Meea: "No, it only works for small children."
Addy: "Rats. Can I try anyway?"
Meea: "I suppose."
Addy: *sticks her hand in the Godspring* *nothing*
Meea: "I told you."

Re: Make My Characters Talk To Each Other
I was imagining Addy would try poking Meea, but presumabky that failed before this conversation happened.
I can go through this thread and find all requests that have not been responded to in some manner.

Re: Make My Characters Talk To Each Other
Tisvetaia: "...So my godly power is preservation, if I poke mortals I can add about ten years to their lifespan. If I prod them every ten years I can keep them alive indefinitely."
Meea: *open staring*
Tisvetaia: "... Would you like a poke?"
Meea: "I would like a dozen. Yes please."
Tisvetaia: poke "The time doesn't stack, it resets it to ten years. So the dozen pokes would have to be over a span of a little over a century to get it right, barring weirdness."
Meea: "Oh."
Tisvetaia: "... Is there weirdness?"
Meea: "I have time-manipulation magic that directly costs lifespan."
Tisvetaia: *blinks* "Well that's useful and alarming, and I break that entire system into itty bitty pieces. Uh, oops." *doesn't sound even a little sorry*
Meea: "Oops?"
Tisvetaia: "I did not at all plan for anything like this when I picked my power. I'm sort of cackling internally."
Meea: "…does it stack if I spend it on time travel?"
Tisvetaia: "I don't know. I can tell how much time I have added to reset the, er, proverbial timer. Do you want to test it? Completely up to you, of course."
Meea: "Test it by...?"
Tisvetaia: "Um, spending a few seconds on time magic, then I poke you again and see if I got you the seconds back."
Meea: *deep breath* *pauses unpauses*
Tisvetaia: *poke* "Yep."
Meea: "…oh gods I'm not going to die, I'm not going to die :D"
Tisvetaia: ":D I am also happy to get friends and family and uh, literally everyone who isn't terrible, I dislike how mortals die."
Meea: "If you don't mind people thinking you're Ua of Hours, you can get a bunch of people, especially goldmages, to poke in the Temple-Guilds."
Tisvetaia: "I actually need them to think I am myself, specifically, because mortals thinking about me is what sustains my life."
Meea: "Harder, not impossible."
Tisvetaia: "Yeah. We can figure it out. I don't mind taking the hit and pretending to be Ua of Hours to get more people immortal faster. And the name doesn't exactly matter, they just need to think I am - me. Not some other god."
Meea: "I… don't know whether people would wind up making the distinction correctly if they called you Ua or not."
Tisvetaia: "Mm. I could likely make it work. How do you feel about letting a preservation goddess into your world? I'm nice, you can look at my domain in my world if you'd like to see what I'm like."
Meea: "You gave me my life back, that's good enough for me."
Tisvetaia: ":3"

Leekath: "…" *listens intently to pebble*
Tisvetaia's pebble: "I am a piece of a volcano goddess who's chosen acolyte power is preservation. Her blessings are luck, strength, an improved sense of direction, memory, panic resistance, and improved healing."
Leekath: *continues listening to pebble*
Tisvetaia's pebble: "She has two manifested human forms, and six manifested animal forms, all of which are a type of bird. She has touched everyone in her domain that gave permission to extend their lifespan. One of her manifested human forms is outside of her domain, preserving a bridge so her neighbor can't break it later to extort worship from the nearby humans."
Leekath: *is really pretty fascinated by this pebble*
Tisvetaia's pebble: "She is paying the most attention to her manifested forms and places where people call her name directly. Her second manifested form is talking to her acolyte about how progress against the god Qualixstri is going. Her first manifested bird is in flight to a new location to be pet. Her second manifested bird is sitting at the head of a line of people, who one by one pet her feathers. Her third manifested bird is -"
*the pebble drones on and on about the exact habits of her manifested birds*
Leekath: *picks up the pebble and puts it in her pocket*
Tisvetaia's pebble: "... Her third holy object is bestowing blessings upon a mortal that has asked for them..."
Leekath: "Under what circumstances does she grant requests like that?"
Tisvetaia's pebble: "She bestows blessings on mortals when they can directly improve their life in some way, when they seem to be in danger and could use help, when she would like to earn favor from them, when she likes them, when she has accidentally frightened them, or when they have left her a particularly memorable offering."
Leekath: "Hmmmm."
*after a long while*
Tisvetaia: "... What's this? Uh. Hello. Thank you for taking care of my pebble for me, it seems I misplaced it for a while there."
Leekath: "You're welcome."
Tisvetaia: "Would you like a blessing for your trouble?"
Leekath: "Yes please. I'd like the improved memory."
Tisvetaia: "..." *bless* "You don't feel like you're anywhere near my domain. How'd you know about my blessings?"
Leekath: "I heard about them."
Tisvetaia: "From?"
Leekath: "From your pebble."
Tisvetaia: "... Well that is a remarkably useful skill, and also a little disturbing."
Leekath: "It's very useful."
Tisvetaia: "Yes. Um. Well. How long have you had this pebble?"
Leekath: "A while. It was interesting so I picked it up."
Tisvetaia: "I see. Well. Thank you for not doing anything nefarious with the information it provided you."
Leekath: "You're welcome."
Tisvetaia: "Now, uh, I'd like to have my pebble back, any protestations?"
Leekath: *gives*
Tisvetaia: "Thank you."

I found @fuckno and Teah hilarious. She thought a Joker was heterosexual. And cissexual, but that's an easier mistake to make.
