Shell Bell, Bar sometimes knows what effects bringing a pebble to your world will have. She might have seen it happen before; she might just be able to tell enough about what kind of god he is. She might not know, but you should ask instead of just saying that it might have weird effects you can’t predict.

It turns out that we know whether it’s safe and Alicorn has said that sometimes it isn’t worth having characters spend as much time as should be necessary to have confidence in true hypotheses, though.

Bar said that she had a hard time sneaking Shell Bell enough vitamins. I’m surprised she didn’t interpret a vague “potatoes and butter” as specifically-engineered micronutrient-heavy baked potatoes and butter. Maybe nobody had done enough engineering on potatoes or butter to make up the difference, I guess.
