Finished my painting, unless I decide to do something else to it. When it's dry (...which seems to take a longass time) I'll scan it and you can see it. No news on the fiction front today.

For some reason we were talking about cuckoos in my living room so now there's a new AUSJ.

Started a new story. Working title "Lightcone".

Wrote a few hundred words and then determined that my plot didn't make sense. I still like the premise but plots are the hardest thing.

Looked at Goldmage again, didn't stick to it. May be that I'm not as on the right track with the ending as I thought I was.

Had another story idea. I think this one makes more sense but my house is full of dinner guests and I don't want to start surreptitiously writing it until they leave because it's sad and may cause me to embarrassingly weep in front of everyone.

Wrote the teary story idea! It's short. Also wrote some Effulgence and some Lumos. Tomorrow I will try picking up an old something again.

I was definitely mildly ill. Still not so great, although I don't expect lasting effects.
