If my vote counts for you and Paradox dies and isn't mafia, you are either in the same faction as Paradox or have a less town-compatible win condition. That's what my role PM said, whoever has the least town-compatible win condition, or if they're both the same faction, my most recent vote.

As far as votecounts, iirc everyone has voted for Paradox, except Paradox himself who has voted Eva, and pistachi0n who then voted BSS but still with the intention to lynch Paradox. Hence me pushing for "okay that's settled, who else do we suspect/ want people to investigate/ etc?"

Suspicions thus far:

BlueSkySprite—Mildly suspicious because it feels like she's not participating as much as she did in previous games, but that's probably because of irl stuff. If this thing with Paradox pans out the way we think it will I will probably townread her.
epsilonbeta—Vague townread but I'm having trouble coming up with justifications. I intend to reread his posts and clarify and/or change my position.
Eva—Strong townread. She's clearly experienced and she's making helpful suggestions that don't come off as manipulative.
HybridZizi—I was slightly suspicious of her because she's been lurking a lot, but I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt because she's new at this.
PDV—I think he's probably not killing anyone currently so he's a low priority.
pistachi0n—Her powerclaim was pretty specific and I can't think of a clear benefit to making such a claim, so I tentatively trust her.
Shoal—I read them as town at the beginning of the game but began to be suspicious when they stopped participating because they've been very active in previous games. I'm inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt because I know they have stuff going on, but if they don't talk more later in the game I'll probably be more suspicious.
Tamien—Slightly suspicious because I feel like she participated more in previous games, but she also has RL stuff going on. Again, if a lot of time passes and she still isn't talking a lot I'll be more suspicious.

I think it would be really helpful for the people who have more Mafia experience to talk more. Eva is doing so, which is awesome, and Shoal was doing that at the beginning, but we could stand to increase participation a lot still. I know talking a lot isn't necessarily a town indicator (see: DanielH, see also: the entire Elcenia mafia game thread), but I get slightly suspicious when people who I know are really smart aren't talking.

Also, quick note: I'm going to be on vacation next week and thus playing from my phone. I can still participate tolerably well (I was on vacation for a large portion of Effulgence mafia and still managed to follow the thread) but there will likely be large chunks of time where I am unavailable.

It keeps coming up that people are suspicious of me for acting differently than last time. What alignment was I last time, guys?

72 hour day phases is pretty rough, too.

anthusiasm is null for now. she replaced into a lurker slot and she doesn’t have many posts yet so it’s hard to read her but i like her reads list.
BSS is town because I believe her claim
epsilon could be scum. dunno. need to reread him in more detail. (my scumlean on him is mostly process of elimination)
eva is town; I have seen scum fakeclaim miller before but the confusion about whether or not she was a miller looked genuine and it didn’t look like a botched fakeclaim at all.
hybrid is still suspicious.
paradox is probably scum. if you’re a miller you need to claim it before someone has a guilty on you because otherwise everytime someone gets a guilty on scum they can claim miller to get themselves off the hook.
pdv is low priority, yeah.
pistachi0n is town. I believe her about her ability and it seems like a protown ability.
tamien i dunno about, need to look into her more.

Anthusiasm being suspicious of BSS worries me a little, seems like hedging her bets BUT it could just be town paranoia. I’m glad she’s voting paradox instead of BSS, though, this is the correct order of operations when someone has a guilty.

wolfy correctly voted scum in her second post (Daniel) and she had no reason to bus Daniel at that point so Anthusiasm is almost certainly not scum with Daniel. She’s third party or town. Her replaceout seems protown as well.

hybrid seems pretty wishywashy to me and that’s not been improving which worries me and has me leaning scum on her but she is new and that makes it harder to tell. Pistachi0n, hybrid says you know her irl, what’s your opinion on her?

Tamien. I like a lot of her posts but I don’t get why she has me and pistachi0n at opposite ends of the spectrum in one of her day 2 reads lists when pistachi0n has an innocent on me.

Being allowed to quote our role pms makes me suspect that Alicorn has given the scum full safe claim role pms.otherwise we could just break the game by all quoting ours. Also, the way Yadal talked about his safe claim makes it look like his safe claim was more than just a name but was a full fake role pm.

(Note: I am posting a lot less than I usually do, as pistachi0n noticed. This is mostly because I have an internship that, unlike at school, I don't have a phone or tablet with me except sometimes at lunch, and I can't do mafia during work hours. The rest is because the Many Worlds Forum and associated glowfic is competing for my time.)

I'm concerned we're getting dangerously close to illegal writing-style analysis. I would expect the gods to have intentionally had either all the same or randomly varied first sentence styles in order to stop us getting useful information from them.

Here are my reads on people. Sorry, I'm in a hurry:
Paradox: Strong mafia-read. Didn't claim to falsely show up as mafia until after I already called them guilty. Showed up as "Mafia" on investigation.
Hybridzizi: Weak scumread. Lurky, gives vague reasons for suspicions. Could also be newness. Some improvement.

Anthusiasm: weak townread. new to specific game. Seems to be playing well so far.
Epsilon: weak townread. Don't know playstyle well, don't know personality. Seems to make useful suggestions.
Eva: medium townread. The counterclaim felt real, and confused, not staged.
PDV: independent read. obviously. I'm <i>guessing</i> kinda-friendly independent, but not really sure. Don't forget about him.

pistachi0n: specific power claim. Probably town, waiting for some evidence.
shoal: townread, dependent on pistachi0n. Also useful I think.
Tamien: townread for gameplay, being suspicious of me for I think the right reasons, making I think good decisions.
