BUT WHO WAS CONCEALED BY MTC'S IDENTITY AS A "PLAYER"? It is none other than THE QUEEN, faction INDEPENDENT. THE QUEEN IS DEAD, LONG LIVE TH- no, wait, that doesn't really work here, does it. The Queen is dead, long live Promise? Eeeeenh, Promise is outside the scope of short stories... NEVER MIND THE QUESTION OF HOW AN IMMORTAL FAIRY CAN BE KILLED. PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE COMPROMISE OF FLAVOR FOR THE SAKE OF MECHANICS BEHIND THE CURTAIN.

Okay, I totally retract earlier statements re:killing independents. At this point I doubt there is an organized mafia faction at all.

There was a death revealed as mafia. That means there's a mafia, even if it's only 2 or 3 people. I agree the independents are also a threat. Speaking of which, you claimed independent yesterday. Can you convince us you aren't at all a threat to town?

There seems to be a lot of characters from the fairy stories in this. We've already had two turn up dead and we aren't very far in yet. It seems increasingly likely that there are a lot of fairy characters in this so it might be wise to be cautious with revealing your characters name (or taking any food from other players :P). The obvious power for The Queen to have is to know everybody's names which would let the player guess at powers etc. It's also possible she had the power of taking vassals if she had figured out their name but that seems more likely for a more generic fairy. Various other variations on those or different powers could also apply...

Wait PDV claimed independent? I must have missed that, that definitely increases my suspicion of him.

PDV claimed /slightly/ independent, and pistachi0n's power(should it exist etc.) does show him to be at most as bad as Yadal.

I think that's fairly unlikely. We might have a huge pile of uncoordinated scum pointing in different directions, or a Libby-esque situation like game one, but I think fairies or some other in-story group mafia is most likely. And reducing the numbers of a group is much more important than hitting a neutral (specifically something like 2x as important). I don't deny he's a potential threat, but I still disagree with the threat prioritization. Because, again, 'newbie awkwardly trying to make friends' seems like a bad tactical target.

My win condition isn't pure-vanilla Town, but Yadal is in no way related to it and I have no private information related to him (at this time).

So per your own math, we should avoid lynching you only if there's someone we're >50% confident is mafia, correct?

Due to travel things, I have not had enough time to properly tabulate my suspicions yet. I will attempt to do this within the next sidereal day.

That being said, I am most suspicious of Paradox, then PDV, and I am pretty confident that my tabulations will keep them at the top of my list in that order. Beyond that, I expect rankings to change from my last list. So for now, I would be happiest voting Paradox and second happiest voting PDV.

I mean, for my own case, I think the confidence threshold for a better guess ought to be lower, since I mostly win with town and have no murderpowers. But how much lower is certainly a matter of debate, and I'm kind of a biased source. Though clearly, it should be 5%. :P

Paradox and Wolffreak both need to talk a lot more, one of them is probably going to be my next suspect after PDV tomorrow.

Paradox seems a bit opportunistic, which makes me feel like they're scummy, but I would put wolffreak above them at the moment for the following reasons:

1: Wolffreak seems to be contributing even less.

I think I'm going to switch my vote to Shoal as the chances of DanielH getting lynched right now are very slim and I think Shoal is equally suspicious. I'm still not completely sure of what exactly I'm finding suspicious but something just seems a bit off about those two.

There was very little evidence to suspect DanielH at this point (early on the first day), and then DanielH mysteriously turns up scum.

Her reasoning for why she wanted to vote for DanielH?

I will admit that lurking is suspicious but sometimes people have busy schedules or lives and don't post very often so basing suspicions on lurking isn't necessarily going to work well for this. In the last game, the lurkers tended to be town and not scum with the exception of the demon so it isn't necessarily a good idea to use that logic with this particular group in general. Also, I will try to be less lurky but I'm still not good at sharing suspicions or posting in general so it will be difficult for me to come up with constructive things to say.

I'm not sure why but Shoal and DanielH seem suspicious to me. I think it might have been something from some of the earlier posts but I'm not sure. I'll have to re-read and figure it out.

This feels like early distancing to me. A throwaway vote like that would almost certainly not result in a lynch, but it gives the impression that the two of them are not on the same team.

Given that the Queen is both 1: dead, and 2: independent (thus tilting things in the direction of there not being multiple fairies, because I don't think the Queen would not be on a fairy scumteam), I'm really tempted to ask for a truename fullclaim from you.
