Sorry, I did not mean to discourage casual posting. I thought I was just playing along too; I don’t know how my accusing pistachi0n of being McCarthy or having private communication with him is much different from her actually voting for epsilonbeta on the grounds of being McCarthy.

I do not think that anybody’s name capitalization or beliefs on economic theory are at all correlated with their chance of being scum in the game.

Except THE COIN. THE COIN is never scum. THE COIN is infallible. And very fond of capital.

Yes, except for THE COIN. THE COIN is neither Town nor Scum.

And except for me, I suppose, since I know that I am capitalized and that I am Town. Technically, that counts as some correlation. It doesn’t really count for my disclaimer purpose, though, since I don’t expect to be able to extend this to others and I’m not trying to figure out my own alignment.

Don't really know, but my best guess is that if I were Mafia I would make some sort of silly post to try and distract people, or alternately speaking lurk. Admittedly I'm not that good at this (I had some games on Civfanatics, but those were years ago and I didn't do very well), but maybe they should be our targets?
Changed my mind on trying to fit in. Apparently I give an inch and you people try to take a mile.

vote: DanielH

for being overly defensive.

Yadal is town for now (or playing the newbie card, time will tell).

Yahal--the silliness is a way to break the ice when it's the beginning of day 1 and nobody has anything to go off of.

Silliness is fun, although it's a little confusing when it isn't clear whether it's serious or not.

yeah, a lot of this is just posturing. going back and rereading once we have scum flips, we can think about who was interactnig with each other and how.

But for now it’s page 3 and we only have weak reasoning to go on because not much has happened yet, so the only thing to do is to leap into the fray and interact and try to get people to react to you. what any of this actually means will only be clear in hindsight.
