We thought padlocking the chemicals would make it so the tiger could no longer get to them, until a fairy taught him how to pick locks.

That was fairy was nothing but trouble, I knew it the moment she walked in with that sparkly blue hair

We had been foolish enough to padlock all the chemicals together. Not only was there hydroflouric acid, but now the tiger knew where we kept the sodium hydroxide

At this point, dear reader, you might naturally question why I had a solution capable of dissolving glass stored casually (albeit securely) amidst the other detritus piled in the space between the car and the garage's wall.

I assure you, I have a perfectly reasonable explanation for it; I needed something to take out that fairy.

Some might think me cruel, but that fairy was a menace to the community, constantly playing loud music and hexing the neighbors' mailboxes, so it was all for the greater good, you see.

And as everyone knows, fairies are made of glass!

(In retrospect, I should have expected it would draw my beloved tiger into its degenerate schemes rather than merely standing by whilst I formulated my plans to eliminate its influence once and for all.)
