:D

I'm loving it, I have to say.

Also I am desperately curious about how freaked out the management is now that they're getting all these enormous orders from weird out-of-area people.

Neither did I. And then I saw that it did.

I, as a Guest, see the "Backstage" group under lots of people's names. I understand from About Backstage that this isn't meant to happen.

On the first page of the introduction thread, I see the primary group "Backstage" on the posts of
  • Undrained
  • The Mathemakitten
  • Kit
  • Dispersive Prism
  • gabriael
but not on the posts of
  • Leaf
  • Dotted Lines
  • Fortunomancer
  • Andrew
who appear as the less-confusing "Poster" or "Regular".

Was this fixed already? I can see who’s a member of the backstage group when I specifically look, but I can’t see it in a thread using DanielH, Andrew, or Guest.

I think there's a difference between logged in and not logged in?

I joined backstage myself as the mathemakitten but I was added by Mother Starlight as Cardea if that makes a difference. also Leaf, Dotted Lines, Fortunomancer, and andrew all are in a group together i think to let them post in that one thing.

Leaf, Andrew, Fortunomancer, Archangel, Mother Starlight, Esthfora, and Nifl can all see the board (which OOC others can see by link and IC others don’t know exists, unless Dotted Lines has looked at the set of us). There is no actual group involved, by the forum definition.

Technically, there's a hidden group that controls access to the Threats and Infosec board.

I'll look into the Backstage group appearing.

I still see this behavior. I see these group labels on people's posts, directly below their display names.

Cardea, like The Mathemakitten, shows as Backstage (sampled from page 2 of Own Up).

I am accessing the forum on a mobile device. I am not logged in at all, and so it calls me Guest. I see everything in a dark blue theme which is aesthetically nice enough, but which fails to mark any hyperlinks that the poster hasn't also distinguished with bold or other special formatting.

I cannot access the "threats infosec" board, at least not with my browser's best attempt at DanielH's link above.

That's very strange. The lack of marking on hyperlinks is probably related, since suppressing "Backstage" and marking links are both customizations that I did.

I'd be interested in knowing how Hadassah shows up.

In the edit profile page, under the settings tab, you can choose which groups are visible to others. It's the third option from the bottom.
