I find Tulip's post fairly convincing so I'm going to keep my vote where it is for now.

So far I am counting 2 clears so..
either:
-The "leaders" message was about fv being clear (I still think this is unlikely but not impossible) (wouldn't make it less likely for them to be the demon now thou.)
OR
- Alphabeta knew the name of at least one scummy person.
It's possible one of the people he investigated was killed on the night he investigated them so he saw no reason to tell us what information he had about them.
anthusiasum wrote:I'm tempted to vote for michaelblume because I think he's probably the demon but no one else is voting for him so my vote probably wouldn't do anything, so that doesn't seem all that much better than not voting at all. Also I agree that the Mafia is a more pressing issue.
jalapeno_dude wrote:(But anthusiasm, I share your feelings re michaelblume. Let's talk more if we both survive the night. )
On the one hand I think Michaelblume would make sense as a demon possession candidate as there's a good chance we would ignore/overlook him but on the other hand I think the demon probably chooses who to jump to next and michaelblume has in effect dropped out of the game so it seems likely the demon would worry about his ability to pick the next demon.
the earlier the better really, so we can put pressure on different people throughout the day to get a clear idea of who the best lynchee is for the day. we don't have to all agree with each other but we do have to all interact.
I'm getting spoiled on mafiascum -- there we have a couple weeks for each day phase so we can really do all the talking we want and have a lot of time to get to know each other and work together. There, a majority of votes ends the day early so in practice the days don't always last 14 days. I like the predictability of our day lengths here because it is convenient that the day will always be ending at a certain time so we can plan around it. But maybe next game 4 real life days instead of 3 would be better. Because right now we're doing:
Day 1: suspicion posts
Day 2: chatter
Day 3: mad scramble to vote
preview-edit: oh, that's a good point. I just finished a game on mafia scum where I was the tracker and on the first night the person i tracked was nightkilled. We've had some nights where a lot of people died so even statistically speaking it's likely enough that this happened to alpha.
maybe there's a "compulsive" mechanic with the demon thing such that if the person doesn't submit a night action, THE COIN picks a random target?
@ Shoal yeah. That does seem weird to me. Probably means it's a clue. (preview edit: refers to the smiley)
It could mean that AB didn't have alignment checking but had some other kind of power?
@Tulip Ok. The promtness of that response might mean that it's genuine so you get another bump down the suspicion scale.
I don't know if I find FV suspicious anymore. Most of the arguments against them are intuitive and I dislike trusting those. (Though I will if I won't find anything better)
I was suspecting they were a demon before, but now that seems unlikely to be the case.
Let's see if I can find anything better in the little time we have left.
I think the suspicion spoiler boxes were a good idea early in the game but I think we've reached or are at the very least approaching the point where they do more harm than good. I think that people probably have a good idea of who everyone else finds suspicious at this point and spoilering suspicions takes up time and slows down the discussion.

Yeah, I think this is the most plausible thing that would happen but it would probably occur to a demon that a randomly chosen target is likely to be less well chosen than someone selected by a person so they'd want to avoid the possibility that a demon would be randomly chosen.
Ok. vote futurevision
for supposedly having a connection to an inactive player who gives me very weird vibes.
This may be feelings based, but I don't have anything better at the moment.
I do expect Tulip to keep his word tomorrow about doing things in a timely manner.
I expect others to look for late arriving things because I may not be here.
Btw. I would appreciate some killblocking today if the relevant person(s?) don't have better ideas.
If there are more high priority targets for the mafia to kill before me I am glad to be unaware of them.
As we are approaching the one hour mark I am unlikely to flip after this.
I do reserve the right to do so, but the reason or argument that may prompt it should be really really good.
