Seems the problem was in my english. I thought "since the first night" excluded the first one.

You cite him saying "Kappa is fallible and makes mistakes - we should remember that of all our community leaders." as clearing you. I agree that this would be plausible on its own. But then he voted for you later that day! I doubt very much he would have voted for you if he'd actually confirmed you as innocent

I had volunteered to receive votes in order to make sure people voted.
AB thought I was asking for death because I was a demon and wanted death and couldn't just tell you guys for some reason.
He redacted easily enough.

I do agree that it weakens the statement that came before.

But if everyone knew that thing had happened as a result of people making lists why didn't the practice die then?
(Not blaming j_p for this. It's general frustration at the world.)

Thing is the AB thing is just an example of things that can go wrong.
Every time a list is made there is a chance of something similar.
Especially if a person who feels they can't or can't be bothered to make a good one makes one.
Every time someone dies or roleclaims or does anything visible with a power the lists degrade.

I don't suspect you for causing the Keo-thing.
I suspect you for continuing to push for the thing that caused the Keo-thing after you saw what happened on day 1.

I think people are focusing too much on the demon and ignoring the mafia. Aestrix said there were five mafia members, only one has died. So there are four alive. There are ten people left in the game, if things go like they have been so far we'll lynch one and another will die tonight bringing us down to 8. If Michaelblume isn't mafia and we don't kill a mafia member today they could control the vote tomorrow presuming michaelblume continues to not participate.

I'm more worried about the mafia currently so I'm going to reread some of the thread and see who looks like they're likely to be mafia and vote for one of them.

Paradox: Has been very quiet, and seemed extremely panicked about dying yesterday, which is why I voted for them. My exchange with modrony has made me slightly less suspicious of quiet people, though.

I doubt this will change your mind but I dislike having people misread my emotional state so I wasn't panicked yesterday I was annoyed that people were voting for me for bad reasons.

I agree about michael; he's probably still sick. If he's better and wants to rejoin the game that would be nice.

I would like to hear from Paradox though. In fact I'm going to put my vote where my mouth is. I'll change it if Paradox shows up and acts like someone with a town win condition. I wish BSS were here because she's probably better at this than I am but right now Paradox is my best guess for who was town yesterday and isn't today.

I was and still am town. I can see why you guys find my lack of participation today suspicious but it wasn't caused by anything in game I've just been too demotivated/apathetic to do much in general the last few days. I can see how this wouldn't be convincing but it's the truth.

Paradox's last post seems very town motivated to me, because it's true that the mafia is the bigger target, the easier to find target, and the bigger thread. I think the demon mechanic is captivating our attention because we don't know how it works and it's fun to speculate about it.

I am suspicious of futurevision and Tulip. Futurevision because of the same reasons other people have said and Tulip because yesterday Alphabeta said they were suspicious of her and alphabeta is Keo so it seems likely they had additional information we don't. I'm not sure which one I'm more suspicious of but nobody's voting for Tulip right now so there's no chance of killing them (if that changes I'll reconsider my vote).

I agree that Paradoxs post seems town motivated.
I don't think that is impossible to fake but it should count as some evidence.

Also that mafia is likely to be more pressing issue than the demon if we can trust Aertrix numbers.
I am not sure we can. Mafia traitors are usually for sowing chaos among the townspeople. It is not certain that this is the case here but it does make me suspect her statement somewhat.
Further it is tempting to try for the demon because that is a problem we could solve with a single vote whereas we need to hit correctly 3 times to stop the mafia kills.(again, if we believe Aestrix)

None of you seem to agree with my reason to suspect jalapeno_dude, and I don't have my notes here to provide more (If I had more on them I don't remember), so I am jumping ship.

My brain is doing the thing where I don't want to vote for anyone because what if I'm wrong, what then, and also I don't have any definitive suspicions, but I feel like I should vote for someone, so.

I'm tempted to vote for michaelblume because I think he's probably the demon but no one else is voting for him so my vote probably wouldn't do anything, so that doesn't seem all that much better than not voting at all. Also I agree that the Mafia is a more pressing issue.

I don't want to jump on the futurevision or Paradox bandwagons because I'm not suspicious of either of them. People are voting for Tulip and I'm null-reading Tulip, so vote Tulip.
