An OOC discussion area is a good idea. I'm aesthetically reluctant to put it on the same site, but practically I don't really see a good alternative, unless everyone who uses the forum happens to also read this thread.

ETA: I disagree about the Gorgon's head. See SCP-1609 for why the Foundation favors SECURE, CONTAIN, PROTECT over DESTROY, DESTROY, DESTROY. (Short version: sometimes trying to kill something just makes it angry.)

Thorn is actually from the Eclipse Phase setting. (I am not sufficiently familiar with the referenced -- oops, I'm doing her speech patterns. Um, I don't know how far off that is from what you were guessing)

I figured as much. I don't think Ava's Demon has a sufficiently interesting setting for this exercise. I'm pretty sure the only similarity is the TITAN transhumanist empire thing.

there could be a [ooc] bbcode that posts in a different font, but I agree that it's aesthetically displeasing and that being able to talk out of character can make it harder to think of more difficult, more creative solutions to saying what you want to say.

I have just been directing my friends who want to play to go here for out of character things, and a description of the expectations.

As am I!

Honestly, I'm really impressed by everyone's characters and settings, but I feel like it would clog up this thread to inform all of you every time I go "Eeeee!"

Bring on the eee, I say!

I'd also be really curious to know who's playing which characters.

I'm probably not going to be able to make this super clear there, so: LK is from a Dwarf Fortress universe, with bonus homebrew magic.
