I'm honestly wondering if this is going to be "Madoka Magica" at all. My current expectation for this plot is that the Bell and Joker will have their own thing somewhere in America, with much despair and Witchery and potential Bell progress on the whole Cycle problem, and then somewhere in the middle (possibly after ... what's the word for meeting up with the rest of the Bells again? For maximum comprehension and surprise) there is a massive flash of pink light and suddenly Milliways points to a different universe.

(Also, I wouldn't say Rebellion twists characterizations at all. I'm a [REDACTED] fan and I could very much see her doing what she did. It's on the extreme side... but in context, it works.
