Crap, I missed that, I text-searched "Aziel."

What do you think she means by "role declaring?" Like the Iron Man power in the last game?

Yeah, in the books the gods have a "divine presence" ability.

Aziel is the one who put Rhysel in charge of Elcenian kamai. Maybe she regrets this decision and is trying to kill all the kyma? That would explain wolffreak567's death...

Hmmm. Even if that's the case, it's speculative enough that if Tamien claimed to be a pro-town investigator and knew anthusiasum was Aziel, they'd be skeptical and would be highly suspicious of Tamien if they lynched anthusiasum and it turned out she was pro-town.

Also, if mods can confirm her as town, she's probably town. Unless it's "I am Aziel" and then town can interpret that as town even if it isn't true.

Either way, it sounds like her power isn't much of a danger to us. If she has a nightkill, she's probably going to use it on confirmed townies. Once she confirms her true name, that'll be one less person in the Suspicion List, which is bad for us, but not as bad as investigative roles.

I'd imagine the gods would confirm her as a Barashin deity specifically - that's closest to how it worked in the books.

But yes, I agree she's not a major threat to us from a gameplay perspective if her ability is as described. Just surprising to me from an RP point of view.

Problem with my Aziel-wants-to-kill-kyma theory: if true, modrony should have been killed last night. So Aziel is probably pro-Town.

She probably wants to make sure they behave themselves though. Maybe something in her win condition about how they use their powers? Like if Talyn accidentally killed a townie...

but we targetted modrony too. i bet a light blocks all kills against someone, not just one.
