Okay, I think kappa started this list scheme without malice, but it was a mistake. Kappa is fallible and makes mistakes - we should remember that of all our community leaders.

@Alpha, could you please explain why you think it is a mistake? So far, you've just said multiple times that you don't want to do things.
Or, could you at least say if you reasons besides that one?

Well, for one thing, it's possible for scum to determine peoples' roles based on what listed powers are most likely to actually be true. Powered roles are dropping like flies, though that might just be because this is Elcenia.

Well, I said during the previous day that I found those without listposts the most suspicious, and my suspicions haven’t changed much, so:
I currently intend to vote for a player who has not made a listpost yet, with the caveat that I will switch to somebody from an entirely different pool of suspects if they should seem more scummy.

On further thought:

I am kind of concerned that any lists made at this point wont fulfill any purpose.

I mean they are made by people who do not want to make them, so they are made by people who are not intending to leave behind any messages for us to interpret or do not think their behaviour is worth looking at with new info after their death.

They wouldn't really be obfuscating either because the killers would know to exclude any info powers anyway.

They would still make powers easier to spot for the killers.

Is there a benefit to the lists being truthful if the possible owner of the power isn't intending to communicate post-humorously?
Is there even a point in writing ones own name in the mix?
Is there somehow a benefit to having a whole set?

I don't know about the other people who haven't made list posts yet, but I do intend to reveal my role in mine.

It does seem that I am pretty high on many lists. I will attempt to address some concerns.
First:
BSS is absolutely correct in that my last minute voting behaviour is suspicious.
One such evening might pass but two of them does look like a pattern.
I am surprised this doesn't feature on more spoilers.
In my defence, last night I didn't create the tie. futurevision did. I do hope that you have a reason to not have them as a candidate.

In order to make sure it doesn't happen again and to encourage people to make arguments on time I now make a precommitment of my own:
Today, I will not change my vote when there are less than 2 hours on the clock, (beyond demonstrating my ability to do so if required).
I do not encourage (many) others to do the same. Moving the deadline doesn't help, it just moves the 'rush hour'.
Much of the point is to make last minute arguments weaker, while not totally obliterating the ability to respond.
I plan to make this a long term thing tomorrow if it works. This is a test run so it's only for a day.

Second:
People are concerned that I have too much social power.
This is because when I think about something, I tend to open my mouth.
Nothing is preventing you guys from doing the same. You are actively encouraged to do so.

Further, I encourage people to check my posts in effulgence mafia (after we were told to not RP). This is how I am.
Checking that should also help you to not blindly trust the things I say.

This is my second game of mafia, that was the first. I was adorable.
I was advocating mass template claim on day 1. This is before we knew we had crypts. I think we can all agree that would have been a Huge Mistake.
I am sure in hindsight it will turn out that I was adorably naive here too.

I AM LEEKATH. I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO NOT MAKE LISTS.

I lied in mine because I was sure as hell not going to be one of three plausible Leekaths at the time.
I made it to enforce the idea that I was powerless and left numerous hints to not expect any hints.
Unfortunately I do not trust that you guys have enough dishonesty in you to do the same despite prompting.

A complete set of lists could be very bad for the town as it allows mafia to cross-check them.

I am a TRACKER. I can 'hear' where a single person goes each night.
I do not think it's wise to share my current info as it will help mafia efforts.

If required I will disclose a single name and a night when they did nothing.
The other name I will rather get lynched than to reveal. It is not like this is a very useful power and that one could be.

Thank you Alphabeta for having sense, though you might express yourself better. Though I do not understand your apparent inability to lie.
In case you guys think this is a hint, I haven't looked on AB.

To clarify: If you actually really like the list idea, make one.
But make it long, make damn sure each entry is believable, and make it uncertain whether or not you are on the list.

I find this roleclaim convincing because I think it's likely that there is an actual Leekath in the game, so it wouldn't make sense for this to be a safeclaim.

I don't mind if the Mafia discover my power (or lack thereof). Do you think me making a list post would be detrimental to other players somehow?

(I would totally be on board with not making a list post, because uggghh effort, but unless it would be detrimental to other players the benefits of making a list post outweigh the costs, at least in my case).
