yeah, that's fair. i may try both methods next game to see which one i like the results of better.

your list looks fine, except for pistachi0n being stuck at the top - maybe just count anything she does as trustworthy for a while? we want her to be suspicious, but we don't want to lose her any time *soon* - and i worry that both of us trusting jalapeno so highly will look suspect if one of us dies. i think i'll try to find him more suspicious next time i post my list (this shouldn't be that hard; i imagine i can plausibly let a roleclaim bump him from the most-trusted slot).

oh, i'm definitely going to be artificially adjusting my list. i figured each time before i vote or post my suspicions i'd massage the list a bit. i think i'll do that privately because i don't want to influence your list too much. the stickiness is kind of a feature as mafia, though.

i'll jump the masons up a bit and shuffle you guys around. i'll also try to keep pistachi0n near the top but not quite there, tulip somewhere in the middle and the rest of us kind of in the middle too.

Kappa was suspicious of Tau, so I was suspecting that too.

Something I'm wondering about her power--does she select someone at night to be voteblocked the next day? In that case, it would be a coincidence that whoever she selected was voting for someone else. Or does he see the votes near the end of the day and pick someone who's opposing him?

i think it would be nearly useless as a power if it couldn't be used during the day by PMing the mod. not saying it's impossible that's how it works, just that it would make it really hard to do anything useful with it, for all you know that person might end up voting with you -- although thinking about it more later on in the game once you get an idea of how someone's thinking or if you think someone's scum but you don't think you can get the rest of the town on board it might be useable

...okay, that was an interesting (crazy) set of posts to wake up to. I will not get a chance to go through the thread carefully until tonight, but here are my first reactions:

-PDV/Revenn's power seems likely to result in the disclosure of his killer after his death (either by his spirit appearing, or his memories getting absorbed by someone else, etc.). If this is the case we can exploit pistachi0n's power to cause Town to waste (at least) a day by having her protect whoever we send to kill PDV. We probably shouldn't execute this plan until after we take out Kappa (the vigilante), though.

-As someone predicted earlier, the practice of putting suspicions in spoilers leads to all of the action (roleclaims, etc.) being frantically compressed into the last day/hour/ten minutes. This is something we can exploit!

-Related to that, I should make sure I am active in the 20 minutes or so before the voting deadline ends. I should have set an alarm today, woken up and monitored what was going on, and then gone back to sleep. Unfortunately it looks like the next few voting deadlines are going to fall squarely during my lunchtime (when I need to interact with people IRL, usually) but I will do my best.

-The stuff about demons not talking is *obvious nonsense* (I mean, it's true canonically but there's no way it would have been implemented like this in a Mafia game) and Town!me is *extremely suspicious* of whoever started this bandwagon...which seems to have been BSS, hmm.

-The writeup of tau's failed lynching reads much more to me like "tau was protected by a light" then "tau lost a form" (if he had changed form Town wouldn't have said "tau is still alive", they'd have said "tau turned into a giant dragon (or whatever) and flew away."). Is there anyone who has mentioned light powers in their rolelists (beyond people talking about Oris)? I guess it's probably still more likely that tau did indeed just lose a form and I'm overreading Alicorn's post, but I am suspicious. Relatedly: tau posted this but did not actually roleclaim even though it was fairly likely in the runup to the vote that he'd be the "winner."

-As y'all noted, Kappa voteblocked someone voting for PDV (presumably tau).

Or I could kill PDV. Town will lynch me and none of you will be revealed as the killer.
