Yeah, ok, withdraw vote for alpha
Re: Elcenia Mafia Game Thread
I believe the mods would not lie to BSS. I think they would use weasel words and let her assume, and it looks like they didn't do that. I don't have reason to believe she's lying right now.

Re: Elcenia Mafia Game Thread
Okay, I’m changing my vote. I vote to kill Aestrix. I’m still suspicious of those not participating in the listpost plan, though admittedly less so than I was of Alphabeta for specifically (weakly) arguing against it. I don’t recall anyone else specifically arguing against it, but Aestrix is among those who haven’t joined in with it (which is admittedly not saying much on its own, because less than half of the players have joined in), and is conveniently already on the highest vote count. I also remain unconvinced by arguments not to kill anyone on day 1, otherwise I probably wouldn’t be voting for anyone now.

sorry for the edit, mine was still the last post when I was doing it. MTC posted 22 seconds before I hit submit. The part I added was "and it looks like they didn't do that."

In response to privately aired confusion: Withdrawals with no replacement count as ABSTENTIONS, NOT NO LYNCH VOTES.

A lot of people have been changing their votes.
If it's not too inconvenient, could someone please post another unofficial vote count?

Okay, thanks! So Alphabeta is probably not in danger any more.
I'm actually not sure about whether to kill Aestrix based on the RNG, but Aestrix might want to defend herself soon if she can. Also I feel like not voting is probably worse than no lynching but I'm not sure.

Re: Elcenia Mafia Game Thread
Man, you guys, I just looked back over the thread trying to straighten out my unofficial vote count (it agrees with MTC's now), and Alpha STILL looks really fucking suspicious. This is his most recent post:
At this point I doubt Aestrix is going to wake up and have time to defend herself before nightfall.
Given that at that point we were voting on him based on modrony's suspicion scheme, which really does seem like the best idea anyone has had for how to vote thoughtfully, this seems really vindictive and dissension-sowing - we weren't voting for "basically no reason besides [our] desire to kill", we were voting according to what we saw as the best strategy anyone in this thread has come up with. I'm still not going to change my vote back, but Alpha, if you are town, consider starting to act like it.Alphabeta wrote:As a reminder, I want everyone to remember this list so that when I'm revealed as town you know who decided to get me killed on day one for basically no reason besides their desire to kill.Aestrix wrote:Alphabeta: 6 (Kappa, michaelblume, modrony, Shoal, Tamien, Tulip)
