All her rolepost says is
You must, in order to win, die before the last non-mafia infidel is destroyed.

When we figure out who the traitor is, should we use our night kill or try to get the town to lynch them, perhaps by one of us making a good case for why they seem sketchy or by claiming a protown investigative role?

Night kill sounds best, because I suspect the role will be revealed as town sided after, and starting a bandwagon just to kill the traitor sounds... Iffy. Like it will backfire. Not during, but the aftermath would be messy. We have night kills, after all, best to get rid of the traitor in a way that doesn't attract the attention of the town.

When we figure this out, won't the traitor *know* we've figured it out, since we can't exclude them from any of our discussion? At that point I don't see why they wouldn't just accuse all of us of being Mafia and hope to be protected by someone in Town during the night.

If we DO use our night kill on the traitor, provided we're right, we can do a lot for convincing the town that we're not working together :D

Although if we use our nightkill for it, I think it should be our leader that does the killing because if one of *us* spends our nightkill on one of us they are outright claiming to be the traitor as far as I'm concerned. But we know our leader is trustworthy.

preview-edit: i was assuming the traitor would be revealed as mafia because i wasn't thinking. you guys are right, definitely use nightkill for it, whether they'll be revealed as town or mafia we can work it to our advantage. And I still think definitely jalapeno_dude should do the honours so we know that even if he was mistaken, we won't turn on him.

I was wrong. For some reason I thought I had to be lynched but yes, getting close to Tulip would work too. Maybe if it seems like she will be lynched in a day, I'll protect her and die, killing 2 birds with one stone.

One of you pretending to be a cop and saying I'm guilty would work, but I'm worried about "uh no I'm the cop" from a townie who is an actual cop.

you fakeclaiming cop would still work then. either someone counterclaims (and we have that night's nightkill!) and you get lynched that day, or nobody counterclaims and you're lynched the next day when they find out you were lying :)

Agreed, beloved leader gets to do the honors of murdering the traitor.

What I DO NOT WANT, even more than having a traitor, is for us to rip ourselves apart trying to FIND said traitor. 5/6 of us are on the same side, and the 6th has a good reason to try to at least pretend to be helpful. Yes a traitor is harmful to us, and they need to go die in a fire, but we can't throw ourselves collectively into the fire in order to definitely get them. That way lies madness, and also losing. We can play the security game in an attempt to keep things away from the traitor, but right now I don't see a huge benefit to it, except in the case of pistachi0n's protection, and only then at a very specific time, when the traitor's actually willing to use their kill to kill one of us.

I don't think the traitor's willing to do anything against us yet. Yet. Too early, too suspicious, too many avenues of PAIN DEATH FAILURE.

We SHOULD look for the traitor, we should question people that seem suspicious, we should keep our numbers up so the traitor can't go running off to the town to screech a list of our names and then get protected until we're all dead. So, uh, I advise moderation. I advise moderation a lot, really, this shouldn't be a surprise.

Maybe in a few days after some townies are dead we can all post cases for why we are not the traitor and come up with the best way to get me killed. For today, we should probably focus on speculating about which townies have power roles and who does tonight (I still want DanielH gone as soon as possible but other people should make suggestions.)
