Does Isabella of Dracula have a home thread somewhere? I am very bad at navigating Dreamwidth.

(On a side note, the Remilia Scarlet pictures make me mildly amused. I am not entirely sure they do not fit. :p)

You might want to change the tittle to "Emperor"?

Eva has a thread for the setting, I dont think that is what you are looking for? http://alicorn.elcenia.com/board/viewto ... f=12&t=274

Yeah, I think Rashek might be a little annoyed at being misgendered.

If you're looking for a discussion thread, it might make more sense for me to make a thread for discussion of all my various glowfic, since I'm still thinking about a thread with Bluelantern and I'm in the process of organizing one with Endovoir. I don't want to clutter the board with individual threads for each glowfic, and it probably would belong in the "Creations" forum anyway.

That said, I am here, in this thread, feel free to ask questions etc etc here while we figure out something more official.

And yep, that's definitely Remi! If you want to go and find an actress who looks 12-14, has or can be easily edited to have obvious vampire characteristics, and who can pull off 'haughty' along with a range of other expressions, be my guest: personally, I found it a lot easier to just steal the face of a similar established character. :P

Alas, Isabella hasn't met anyone with a Janepoint! It would so convenient.

Oh, sorry. I saw:

and immediately thought of Jane from Twilight. Not Aegis and Sue's pseudo-daughter :)

Upon googling, that is actually surprisingly close! The hair is slightly off - Isabella prefers somewhat looser styles - but it is far better than I expected to encounter, especially that quickly.

Registering my guess that Rashek's Estate is "caution through government" and Isabella's is "the boundary between life and death".

You're close with Rashek.
Nemo summarizes the properties of his estate as follows:
Rashek's Estate:
- uses prevention for safety.
- uses its own power to maintain its own power.
- avoids letting things get worse than they already are.
- strengthens itself by keeping others down.

Isabella's Estate is at once narrower and broader than 'the border of life and death.' If it were 'the border of life and death', I would have included more varied brushes with death- people falling off cliffs, almost being run over by cars, etc. Here's her set of properties:
Isabella's Estate:
- Transforms the body.
- Destroys the ugly and corrupt.
- Heals through harm.

Rashek: ...conservativism?

Isabella: I feel like I have a sense of it, but can't think of a word for it. The process of becoming a WoD-vampire or Twilight-vampire would qualify; the state of being one probably wouldn't; anything involving Elcenia-vampires certainly wouldn't. Becoming the Six Million Dollar Man probably would.
